O: Removed R wing wrap. Took rads. Checked vitals. Checked fx site for any open wounds. No holes found around fx site. Placed R figure 8 wrap. Gave oral meds and fluids. Placed back in incubator and lowered heat to 80 degrees.

A: Rads showed R ulna fractured. R radius is intact. Skyline x-ray shows fx site to be more comminuted than multiple fxs. Alignment of fracture isn't the best, but could be decent. Willing to try bird in wing wrap and let injury heal. Vitals were better after being on some heat and will check to see if bird can come out of supplementary heat tomorrow.

P: Change R figure 8 EOD until vet check on 4/22. Rx Meloxicam, calcium slurry and fluids.

A: Barred owl likely hit by car, picked up earlier this morning by finder. Head and ocular trauma in addition to right wing fracture.

P: Rads and more thorough exam needed this afternoon after patient stabilizes. Rx Tramadol, Meloxicam, Fluids. Collect blood and fecal tomorrow. Decide wrap changes after radiographs.
